Training Schedule Color Code – Understanding Purple Font Days
In our training schedule, days marked in purple font indicate sessions that are designed to be more demanding for that specific training group. These sessions may present increased physical intensity, introduce new technical skills, or combine both elements to challenge athletes in a targeted and developmentally appropriate way.
The purpose of these days is to stimulate adaptation—whether through cardiovascular conditioning, muscular endurance, or neuromuscular coordination—while also fostering skill acquisition and mental resilience. These sessions are carefully programmed to align with each swimmer’s developmental stage and long-term performance goals.
